Request Material

The feature is available throughout solarVis and allows you to submit missing products directly from the platform.

Purpose of This Section

The Request Material section ensures that you can continue working without limitations, even if a required product is not yet listed in the database. Instead of using placeholders or external tools, you can request materials directly within solarVis and keep all project data accurate and consistent.

All submitted requests are reviewed by the team and are typically added to the database within 2 business days.

What You Can Do Here

From the Request Material section, you can:

  • Request materials that are not currently available in the solarVis database

  • Provide the necessary information and upload datasheets or add reference links to support your request if you want

  • Ensure requested materials are added for future projects

How to Request a Material (Step by Step)

  1. Open the Materials page

  2. Click Request Material

  3. Fill in the required information:

  • Full Name, Email, Subject (pre-filled)

  • Material type

  • Manufacturer name

  • Model name or number

  1. Upload a datasheet or add a product URL (Optional)

  2. Submit your request

Once submitted, the request is sent to the solarVis team for review.

After You Submit a Request

  • The team reviews and validates the submitted information

  • Approved materials are added to the solarVis database within 2 business days

  • You will be informed via email after the requested material is added

  • Newly added materials appear under the All Materials section, where you can activate them

  • You can manage all settings in the Active Materials section
